TravelDesigns by Campbell
Travel designers who build the journey around the wine — and our partner on an eight-day sailing of the Rhône and Saône in July 2027, hosted aboard by Andre.
The 2027 sailingIn partnership with TravelDesigns by Campbell

A river cruise through the south of France, from the Southern Rhône up into Burgundy — with Andre aboard, pouring from his own cellar in the evenings.
TravelDesigns by Campbell designs and operates the sailing: the ship, the ports, the excursions, the concert inside the Palais des Papes. That is their craft, and they are very good at it.
What VinoCadre adds is the wine and the company. Andre hosts the group — private tastings in his suite, context at dinner, and the kind of guidance that turns a well-run itinerary into an education you happen to enjoy. It is a small riverboat, not a cruise ship, and the group is drawn largely from Fredericksburg.
Booking, payment, cabins, and travel logistics are handled entirely by TravelDesigns by Campbell.
A few of the days
Ashore · Châteauneuf-du-Pape
A tasting in the village whose name became shorthand for the Southern Rhône — the wine of popes, poured where centuries of it were made.
Ashore · Avignon
The walled papal city: the Palais des Papes, one of Europe's great surviving Gothic palaces, and the four remaining arches of the Pont d'Avignon.
After hours · Palais des Papes
The palace closed to the public, opened for the group — a classical trio performing inside its walls, with no one else in the room.
Aboard · Panorama Lounge
Local wines matched to artisan chocolates, and a market morning with the ship's chef that ends at the cooking school on board.
